Southern food with a sophisticated twist is the whole vibe for this popular Black owned restaurant located on Broadway street near the Pearl District minutes away from Joint Base San Antonio's Ft. Sam Military base. Elevated soul food collides with movie makers, creative SABIFF speciality drinks, an open-mic jam session featuring SA's former Poet Laureate Andrea 'Vocab' Sanderson, a live painter (auction), and a surprise DJ influencer. It all boils down to a soulful evening that brings the happy to the hour, sets the stage, and stirs up the volume of a tryst, into a 'funlicious' start to SABIFF's #HistoryRising! 8th year.
