Black History Rising: Technology, Memory & the Future of Black Cinema
This interactive matinee brings together speakers, workshops, and curated short films that explore how Black history is preserved, interpreted, and projected into the future through cinema and emerging technologies. Each one-hour presentation is followed by a short film block that reflects the session’s theme.
Open to: an intergenerational audience comprised of: Students (middle-school - college, Filmmakers/Creatives, Senior Centers, Technology Geeks, All Access Pass and Day Pass Holders.

This upscale evening pays homage both to winning Filmmakers, and also honors Texas history makers committed to the stewardship and dissemination of African American history & culture.
