The Future Fellowship Program is designed to create dynamic, life-changing experiences for males that identify as Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) that mentor and support personal and career growth into new opportunities, increasing the number, sustainability, mental health, and social mobility of BIPOC males in all career fields.
CMOCC Youth Fellowship Program
The CMOCC Future Fellowship Program (FFP) provides an opportunity for young leaders between 20 and 35 years of age from COLORADO to become part of our global effort to build minority men better and join CMOCC at the forefront of the response to men's mental health, social mobility, and career representation challenges.
The CMOCC FFP is a competitive capacity-building program that has attracted a wide variety of talent. This year, the CMOCC is sponsoring selected participants to experience the full scope of CMOCC programming and training.

- CMOCC selected candidates who want to contribute to the CMOCC’s efforts to build more resilient and inclusive growth for all, particularly for young men of color. As part of the program, the selected youth fellows will attend in-person workshops led by CMOCC management, senior CMOCC staff, and external experts. They will also have access to seminars and events in Denver, CO. CMOCC will cover travel and related expenses.
- The selected candidates will have opportunities to meet scholars, activists, leaders, and experts while creating lasting connections with other youth fellows from around the Denver Metro Area.
- The selected candidates will become part of the CMOCC Youth Network to connect with previous CMOCC Youth Fellows and stay informed of future opportunities, events, and publications.

Application Criteria
A successful applicant should be between the ages of 20 and 35 years as of October 19, 2024. Have demonstrated experience in one or more of the following:
- Engaging with a civil society organization.
- Entrepreneurship and/or participating in a competitive field of study.
- Content creation/influencer and/or contributing to independent platforms.
- Have knowledge and expertise in international studies, basic economics, and development issues, particularly on inclusive economic growth, the digital economy, climate change, and mental and physical health.
- Demonstrate good public speaking and presentation skills.
- Not to have previously been a fellow of the CMOCC.
The Evolution of Student SuccessSince it emerged as a priority in the middle of the 20th century, student success has gone through a number of evolutions. Fifty years ago, “student success” referred primarily to student engagement. Over the years, it has come to include first-year experience, degree planning and progress, career development, and much more.
